Preheat the oven to 220°C. On a baking tray add the tater tots then bake for the time indicated on the packet. - Step 2
Meanwhile, peel and finely slice the red onion. - Step 3
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan. Add the chopped onion and fry for about 2 minutes. Then add the ground beef and cook for 8 minutes over high heat. Add salt and pepper. - Step 4
Remove the potato pops from the oven, then add the ground beef and cheddar on top. Bake again for 5 to 10 minutes, until the cheddar is melted. - Step 5
Once the cheese is well melted, remove the dish from the oven. If you have any left, sprinkle with chopped red onion and chopped chives. Serve with the sauce of your choice. It's ready !
