  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 240°C. Wash & cut the cauliflower into florets. Small dice the stems & add them to your dish or use them in a soup.
  • Step 2
    Fill the Thermomix bowl with water. Add the cauliflower to the steamer basket & place it in the Thermomix bowl. Cook for 15 min / Varoma / speed 1. Once cooked through, drain the cauliflower & set aside.
  • Step 3
    Prepare the bechamel sauce. In the Thermomix bowl, add : the butter in small pieces, flour & milk. Season with salt, pepper & grated nutmeg (optional). Cook for 7 min 90°C / speed 4.
  • Step 4
    In an oven-proof dish, add the drained cauliflower & season to taste. Top with the bechamel sauce & grated cheese. Bake in the oven for 15 min at 240°C.
  • Step 5
    Once the cheese has melted & the top is golden brown, remove the dish from the oven. Serve the cauliflower cheese with a side of green salad & enjoy !
