Caramelized Beef with Onions & Rice

Flank steak

White rice (long grain)

Yellow onion
3 tbsp
Soy sauce
5 g
Corn starch

Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package. Once cooked, drain and set aside. - Step 2
While the rice is cooking, peel and thinly slice the onion. - Step 3
Slice the steak. - Step 4
Add the steak, soy sauce, honey and cornstarch to a bowl. Mix together and let sit for 2-3 minutes. - Step 5
Add a drizzle of oil to a pan on medium heat. Add the onion and cook for 3 minutes. - Step 6
Add the steak and remaining marinade to the pan and cook for 6 minutes, stirring frequently. - Step 7
Serve everything together and enjoy! Optional: Top with some fresh cilantro.
