Cook the pommes noisettes according to package instructions. - Step 2
5 minutes before the pommes noisettes are done, cook the ground beef patty in a pan over high heat (no need to add oil) for 2 minutes on each side, or to your preferred doneness. - Step 3
Season the patty with salt and pepper, remove from the pan and set aside. - Step 4
Add a splash of water (about 2 TB per portion) to the pan to deglaze it and make a sauce. (Optional: Add a teaspoon of butter for a richer sauce.) Let the sauce thicken a bit over low heat. - Step 5
When the potatoes are golden brown, serve with the patty and sauce, dinner is served!
