- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Melt the chocolate with the butter in a saucepan over low heat or in the microwave. - Step 2
Crack the eggs into a bowl. - Step 3
Add the sugar* and whisk until the mixture turns white. *Check out our tips for this step - Step 4
Add the flour to the egg/sugar mixture and mix. - Step 5
Pour the chocolate and melted butter into the mixture and mix with a spatula. - Step 6
Add the crushed nuts and a pinch of salt. - Step 7
Place a sheet of parchment paper in the bottom of a rectangular baking pan (you can also grease with butter and flour) and pour in the batter. Bake for 25 minutes at 180°C. - Step 8
Take the brownie out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, cut it into squares and enjoy!
Recipe tip
If you wish to reduce sugar quantities, you can remove up to ⅓ of the sugar in this recipe without altering flavor.
