recipe

  • Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. First prepare the brownie batter. Break the chocolate (100g for 1 cake) and melt it in a bain-marie or in the microwave with the butter (75g for 1 cake), until you obtain a smooth texture.
  • Step 2
Pour the chocolate/butter mixture into a salad bowl and add the sugar (80g for 1 cake).* Mix. *Check out our tips for this step
  • Step 3
Then add the eggs one by one (2 for 1 cake), while whisking.
  • Step 4
Add the flour (75g for 1 cake) and a pinch of salt, then mix again until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
  • Step 5
Line a cake pan (we used a dish of 21 x 21 cm here) with parchment paper, then pour the mixture into it.
  • Step 6
Then prepare the cookie dough. Roughly chop the rest of the chocolate (100g for 1 cake).
  • Step 7
In a bowl, mix the rest of the soft butter (120g for 1 cake) with the rest of the sugar (100g for 1 cake).* *Check out our tips for this step
  • Step 8
Add the remaining eggs one by one (2 for 1 cake) and mix until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  • Step 9
Add the rest of the flour (180g for 1 cake) and the yeast, then mix. Add the crushed chocolate and mix again.
  • Step 10
Drop the cookie dough on top of the brownie batter using two tablespoons. Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C.
  • Step 11
Remove the brookie from the oven. Let it cool before eating it. It's ready !

😋 Gourmet tip

For a truly flavoursome dish, we suggest adding crushed walnuts or hazelnuts to the brownie batter.
