- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 240°C. Chop the broccoli into florets.* *Check out our tips for this step - Step 2
Cook in boiling water for 10 min, or until fork tender. - Step 3
Meanwhile, prepare the bechamel sauce. Melt the butter in a pot, on low heat. - Step 4
Add the flour and mix, stirring quickly. - Step 5
Slowly add the milk and mix together with a whisk until the sauce thickens. - Step 6
Once cooked through, drain the broccoli. - Step 7
Add the broccoli in an oven-proof dish (we used a 29 cm diameter dish here) and season to taste. Pour the bechamel on top & top with grated cheese. - Step 8
Bake for 15 minutes until the top is golden brown. Serve and enjoy !
