Bow tie pasta with creamy leeks

Pasta (farfalle or bow-tie)

Crème fraîche

Leeks

Parmesan (grated)

Cut off the ends of the leeks (the root and the dark green part) and then slice the white and light green parts into rings. - Step 2
Place them in a colander and rinse thoroughly to remove impurities or dirt. - Step 3
In a pan, add a dab of butter and the leeks. Cook on high heat for 2 minutes, stirring frequently. - Step 4
Reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. - Step 5
In another saucepan, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the box. - Step 6
After 5 minutes, add the crème fraîche to the leeks and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5 more minutes. - Step 7
Once the pasta is cooked, drain it, and add it to the pan with the leeks. - Step 8
Top with parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper and mix. - Step 9
