  • Step 1
    Peel and chop the potatoes into large cubes.
  • Step 2
    Mince the onions.
  • Step 3
    Mince the garlic.
  • Step 4
    In a frying pan, add the cumin, garam masala and fry together for 1 minute.
  • Step 5
    Add a drizzle of olive oil, plus the onions and garlic. Fry for 3 minutes.

    Add 150 ml of water per person and the tomatoes.
  • Step 7
    Add the potatoes, season with salt and pepper, cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  • Step 8
    After 15 minutes, add in the peas. (Add in some water if the potatoes start to stick).
  • Step 9
    Cover again and cook for 10 minutes more.
  • Step 10
    Serve (optional: add fresh cilantro).
