  • Step 1
    Peel & large dice the potatoes.
  • Step 2
    Peel & slice the onions into quarters.
  • Step 3
    In the Thermomix bowl, add the onions & peeled garlic. Mix 5 sec / speed 5, then clean the sides of the bowl with a spatula.
  • Step 4
    Add a drizzle of olive oil, the garam masala & ground cumin. Leave to cook for 4 min / 100°C / reverse mode / speed Simmering.
  • Step 5
    Add 100ml of water per serving, the canned tomatoes & potatoes. Season with salt & pepper. Stir & leave to cook for 20 min / 100°C / reverse mode / speed Simmering.
  • Step 6
    After 20 minutes, add in the green peas. If needed, add extra water to the pot. Stir & leave to cook for another 10 min / 100°C / reverse mode / speed Simmering.
  • Step 7
    Serve the Bombay potatoes in a bowl & top with fresh cilantro. Re-season to taste & enjoy !
