Brioche bread (sliced)
30 ml
Heavy cream
1 pinch
Nutmeg (ground)

Blueberries
1 tbsp
Demerara sugar
1/4 tsp
Vanilla extract

- Step 1
If needed, slice the brioche. Cut the brioche slices into cubes. - Step 2
Crack eggs into a bowl. Add vanilla extract, nutmeg, a pinch of salt, brown sugar, heavy cream & zest of 1/2 a lemon (portion for 1 person). Whisk it all together. - Step 3
In a greased baking dish, add the cubed brioche bread & spread evenly. Sprinkle in the blueberries & pour the batter over top. Cover with plastic wrap & refrigerate for a minimum of 3 hr & up to overnight. - Step 4
Preheat the oven to 180°C Allow the dish to sit out of the fridge while the oven heats. Then bake 35-40 min, until golden brown. - Step 5
Top with powdered sugar & syrup (optional). Enjoy!
