  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 180°C. Mix the sugar and soft butter in a bowl. Mix until you get a creamy texture.
  • Step 2
    Add the eggs.
  • Step 3
    Add the flour, baking powder, powdered almonds and a pinch of salt. Mix with a spatula.
  • Step 4
    Grease your cake tin and pour in the batter, then add the jam on top. Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Once the cake is cooked, remove from the tin and leave to cool before serving. Tastes even better the next day!
