BBQ Trout with Green Beans & Rice

Trout (fillet)
70 g
White rice (long grain)
150 g
Green beans (frozen)
1 tbsp
Barbecue sauce
optional
1/10 bunch
Chives (fresh)

- Step 1
Cook the rice according to package instructions. Once cooked through, drain the rice & set aside. - Step 2
In another pot of salted, boiling water, cook the green beans for about 3 min. Drain & set aside. - Step 3
In the meantime, rinse & chop chives (optional). - Step 4
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Pat the trout dry with a paper towel. Season with salt & pepper. Arrange the trout on the pan skin side down. Brush with barbecue sauce & sear 6 min. - Step 5
On a plate, serve the trout with the rice & green beans. Add a drizzle of olive oil & garnish with chives (optional). Enjoy!
😋 Gourmet tip
To change things up, swap the BBQ sauce for teriyaki sauce or a homemade honey soy sauce (mix 1 tbsp. of soy sauce with 1 tsp. of honey /portion).
