Pasta (macaroni)

40 g
Shredded cheese

1 slice
Ham (deli slices)

1 tbsp
Crème fraîche

- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C. In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Once cooked through, drain the pasta. - Step 2
Cut the ham into pieces. - Step 3
In an oven-proof dish (we used a 32 x 20 cm dish here), add the cooked pasta. Season with salt & pepper. - Step 4
Add the 'crème fraîche', some of the reserved pasta water & half of the grated cheese. Mix well. - Step 5
Add the ham & mix again. Top with the rest of the grated cheese and bake for 15-20 min at 200°C. - Step 6
Once the cheese has melted & is golden brown, remove the baked mac & cheese from the oven. Serve with a side of green salad dressed to your liking. Enjoy!
