Cut the onions in half then cut them into strips. - Step 2
In a hot pan, add the bacon slices and grill them for 2 minutes on each side over high heat. They should become almost crispy. Then remove onto a sheet of paper towel. - Step 3
In the same pan, add a knob of butter. Cut the burger buns in half, then toast them on the crumb side for 2 minutes over high heat. - Step 4
In the same pan, add a knob of butter then cook the burger on one side for 2 minutes over high heat. Add salt and pepper. Flip it then cook it for 2 minutes on the other side. Salt, pepper then add the cheddar. Cover, turn off the heat and continue cooking for 1 minute. - Step 5
Make the sauce by mixing the mayonnaise with the ketchup. - Step 6
Garnish your burger buns by spreading the sauce base. Add the salad, the burger with the melted cheddar, the bacon slices, the red onions and close the burger. It's ready !
