  • Step 1
    Wash the broccoli, remove the stem and cut into florets. Keep 2-3 pieces raw to add at the end.
  • Step 2
    Add the broccoli to a pot of salted boiling water and cook for 8 minutes.
  • Step 3
    In the meantime, add a drizzle of olive oil to a pan on high heat. Cook the beef for 1 minute on each side for rare) or longer depending on how you like your meat cooked).

    Just before flipping the beef, add the soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and sugar to the pan.
  • Step 5
    Once the steak is cooked, remove it from the heat and let the sauce reduce while cooling slightly.

    Drain the broccoli and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking.

    Place the broccoli in a bowl and pour some of the sauce on top of it (keep the rest of the sauce for serving).

    Cut the remaining raw broccoli in thin slices.

    Cut the steak into strips.
  • Step 10
    Add the broccoli, beef and raw broccoli to a large plate. Top with the remaining sauce, peanuts, salt & pepper. Serve and enjoy!
