recipe
- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C. In your Digicook bowl, mix the softened butter and sugar* for 30 seconds / speed 3, until you have a creamy texture. Next, add the eggs, a pinch of salt and mix again for 30 seconds / speed 3. *Check out our tips for this step - Step 2
Dans le bol du Digicook, ajoutez les œufs. Fermez le couvercle muni du bouchon mesureur et programmez : vitesse 5 / 20 secondes. - Step 3
If you have any, you can replace 1/4 of the flour with ground almonds, for an even more moist cake! Pour this into the first mixture, then mix for 10 sec / speed 3. - Step 4
Wash and peel the apples, and chop them into quarters. - Step 5
Put half the apples at the bottom of a greased cake tin, cover with the batter and then add the rest of the apples. Sprinkle on a tsp sugar (Optional: if you have any, top with flaked almonds.) - Step 6
Bake for 220°C for 10 min, then lower the temperature to 180°C and cook for 30 min. - Step 7
Once the loaf is golden, plant the tip of a knife into the center of the loaf. If it comes out clean, the loaf is ready, otherwise, bake it for another 2-3 min. Once cooked, remove from the tin and leave to cool before serving. Enjoy !
Recipe tip
If you wish to reduce sugar quantities, you can remove up to ⅓ of the sugar in this recipe without altering flavor.
