  • Step 1
    Wash & cut around the core of the apple. Thinly slice the apple.
  • Step 2
    Spread onion jam onto the other side of each slice of bread (optional).
  • Step 3
    Add 2 slices of cheddar cheese to one slice of bread. Top with the apple slices in a thin layer. Add another 2 slices of cheese on top of the apples. Close the sandwich with the second piece of bread.
  • Step 4
    Heat a dab of butter (or a drizzle of olive oil) in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the sandwich. Cook undisturbed for 3-4 min. Flip & cook for another 3-4 min or until the bread is golden brown & the cheese is fully melted.
  • Step 5
    Slice the sandwich in half & serve hot. Enjoy !
