  • Step 1
    Wash & slice the broccoli into florets. Cut the florets in half, depending on their size.
  • Step 2
    Prepare the marinade. In a bowl, combine : the paprika, oregano, cumin, garlic, honey & a drizzle of olive oil.
  • Step 3
    Add the chicken drumsticks to a bowl. Coat them with half of the marinade & mix ton evenly coat.
  • Step 4
    Place the marinated drumsticks in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 15-20 min at 200°C.
  • Step 5
    Meanwhile, in the same bowl, add the broccoli*. Brush them with the remaining marinade & mix to evenly coat. *Check out our tips for this step
  • Step 6
    Place the broccoli in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 6-8 min at 200°C, stirring halfway through cooking. Check that the broccoli & continue cooking in 2 min increments until it's cooked to perfection.
  • Step 7
    Once the chicken & broccoli are golden brown & cooked through, remove them from the air fryer.
  • Step 8
    Serve the Tex-Mex chicken on a plate with the roasted broccoli. Re-season to taste & enjoy !

Recipe tip

For more tender brocoli, steam them for a few minutes before air-frying.
