- Step 1
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (oven to 180°C). If needed, remove the skin from the salmon & slice the salmon into large cubes. - Step 2
In a food processor, add the salmon. Pulse to blend until the salmon is well ground. - Step 3
In a mixing bowl, add : the ground salmon, half of the mayonnaise mixed with the sriracha & the breadcrumbs. Season with salt & pepper. Mix until well combined. - Step 4
With oiled-up hands, form ground salmon balls. Lightly flatten them into burger patties. - Step 5
Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Arrange the salmon patties in the basket & air fry for 6-7 min at 180°C (10-12 min in the oven at 180°C). - Step 6
Meanwhile, halve the avocados. Peel & thinly slice them. - Step 7
Wash & slice the tomatoes. - Step 8
After 6-7 min, flip the salmon burgers. Air fry for another 5-6 min at 180°C (8-10 min in the oven at 180°C). - Step 9
Once the salmon burgers are golden, remove them from the air fryer. Assemble the burger by spreading the remaining mayo / sriracha mix onto each side of the burger bun. Add the lettuce, tomatoes, salmon burger & avocado. Close the burger with the top bun & enjoy !
