- Step 1
Wash & hull the green beans if necessary. - Step 2
Heat a pot of salted boiling water. Add the green beans & cook for 12 min. If using frozen green beans, cook according to the package instructions. Once cooked through, drain them. - Step 3
In a deep plate, add the egg & season with salt & pepper. Whisk with a fork. - Step 4
Add the flour to a second plate. Coat the chicken in the flour, then in the beaten egg. - Step 5
Add the breadcrumbs to a third plate & coat the chicken in the breadcrumbs. For a thicker crust, coat it a second time in the beaten egg mixture, then in the breadcrumbs. - Step 6
Add the breaded chicken to the air fryer basket with the rack. Add a drizzle of olive oil & air fry for 20 min at 180°C, flipping halfway through. - Step 7
Meanwhile, boil a pot of water. In a bowl, mix : the couscous, salt, pepper & a drizzle of olive oil. Pour the same volume of couscous in boiling water. Cover & leave to soak for 5 min. Fluff the couscous with a fork & set aside. - Step 8
Once golden brown & crispy, take the chicken out of the air fryer, then slice it. - Step 9
Serve the breaded chicken with the couscous and green beans*. Re-season to taste & add some fresh herbs, if you have any. Enjoy! *Check out our tips for this step
😋 Gourmet tip
For a truly flavorsome dish, we suggest serving the chicken cutlet with a garlic & herb sauce & replace the green beans with ratatouille to switch thing up.
